To borrow a slogan "We Still Build Them One At A Time". Each Bluegrass case is hand made here at our location. Our wood "Collector Cases" are all made from select grades of hardwood which we purchase locally. All the wood has been dried and seasoned before we begin to mill it. Select grades of Walnut, Cherry, Oak, and Cedar are used in our manufacturing process.

After the wood is milled and mitered, the corners are then glued and doweled resulting in a very durable case. Each case is fitted with brass hinges and lockable latches. We use "Double Strength" glass in all our wood cases which we cut from large sheets on location. Each "Bluegrass" case is detailed sanded and stained. The case then goes into our spray booth and a nice gloss lacquer finish is applied. Inside the case is a layer of thick dense foam with a thin layer of colored foam on top for the background. Each case when completed is protected by a clear poly bag to ward off scratches and dust.

Our cases range in size from 6" x 9" thru 24" x 24". Depths include 2, 3, 4, and even 5 inches. A "Bluegrass" case is well suited for almost all memorabilia including but not limited to: Pocket Knives/Military Daggers, Civil War Items, Indian Artifacts, Collector Pins/Badges, Swords, Firearms, Model Cars/Trains, etc. Since 1990 our cases have been known as "The Collectors Choice.

Black Display Frames Features

Our "High Quality" Black Display Frames are made from durable chipboard which has a black EMBOSSED levant applied. The lids are stamped (cut out) to make a viewable window. Glass is carefully installed in the lid. The bases contain white synthetic polyester which will not cause any tarnishing of your collectibles. The sides are machine punched and removable pins are inserted which secures the lid to the base. Sizes of the "Black Display Frames" run from a 3" x 4" thru 14" x 20" x 2".
